Starting at zero is normal here. A1 opens with pronunciation — nasal vowels and liaison in week one — because accent habits set early and are expensive to undo at B2.
What score do Toronto students need for NCLC 7?
The thresholds are national, not local: 434 reading, 434 listening, 428 writing and 456 speaking on the 0–699 scale. The level that counts is your weakest skill.
